If we go for a Special occasion to celebrate a birthday or an Anniversary then they go out of their way treated us all Royalty at no extra charge at all. “ Best Chinese food in town!! BEST SBC- Sang Choy Bao ever. What a find. We came to Port Macquarie as a road trip and read Golden Inn is the place to go. The Sang Choy Bao, srly is a winner. That fresh lettuce crunch and nicely marinated meat filling. Loved the vegetarian fried rice too! Sweet and sour pork had a nice crunch to it and the vegetable stir-fry dish is also delish. Great service and fair prices. Oh I forgot was it lamb we ordered a steaming black plate? Yummm!! Highly recommend ”

“ Absolutely loved everything that this Chinese restaurant had to offer! Only 30 minutes from Port Mac and well worth the drive. The portion sizes are generous and more importantly the authentic flavours of each dish brought back memories of when I conducted business in China. Great service and a special mention to Annie or Anna ( forgot her name) who was the girl at the front of house who was extremely friendly to my family and I. Definitely will be back! Cheers guys! ”

“ The meat was amazingly tender. The house-made special sauce with black bean paste and a bit of chilli was a great pairing with the white rice. The vegetables were fresh, though it would have been nice to have some leafy greens for a different texture and increased roughage — but still very tasty. It would also have been great to see some tofu dishes on the menu to make it more vegetarian-friendly. We enjoyed a quick chat with Stanley, who stopped by before leaving to say hi. Shout out to him! The staff were wonderful — they even closed the door before vacuuming so as not to disturb us, which we really appreciated! All in all, I’d recommend stopping by if you’re craving Asian food or looking for a nice family dinner spot where you can share dishes. ”
